Congressman Speaks at Committee Meeting, Sends Letter to NEPA Coordinator
Washington, D.C. – Today Congressman Kevin Cramer continued to demand approval of the Keystone XL pipeline as he voted with the majority of his colleagues in the House Committee on Natural Resources to pass the Northern Route Approval Act. The bill, co-sponsored by Cramer, will now be considered by the full House of Representatives. It allows completion of the Keystone XL pipeline on the merits of existing study, and without approval from President Obama.

Bill Seeks to Improve Efficiency of Processing Oil and Natural Gas Permits
Washington, D.C. – The first bill introduced by Congressman Kevin Cramer passed the House Committee on Natural Resources today. H.R. 767 will allow the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) field office in Dickinson, North Dakota to participate in a Pilot Project which intends to improve the efficiency of processing oil and natural gas permits.

Washington, D.C. – Today Congressman Kevin Cramer participated in a hearing for a bill designed to improve the permitting process for livestock grazing on public lands. The Grazing Improvement Act, cosponsored by Cramer, will grant greater economic certainty to ranchers and landowners by extending the longevity of grazing permits and decreasing the wait period for permit renewals.

The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) passed the House earlier today, with a significant amount of both Republicans and Democrats voting in favor of the legislation. Washington, DC- Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Bureau of Reclamation Small Conduit Hydropower Development and Rural Jobs Act, a bill Congressman Kevin Cramer cosponsored with fellow Natural Resources Committee member, Congressman Scott Tipton. The bill passed 416 to 7 and eases hydropower development at existing Bureau of Reclamation water canals and pipelines.
