Former Public Service Commissioner Kevin Cramer Sworn Into Congress By Speaker John Boehner

Washington, DC- Today, former North Dakota Public Service Commissioner Kevin Cramer was sworn into Congress by Speaker John Boehner on the floor of the United States House of Representatives. At approximately 2:10 PM Kevin Cramer began his service as the next Congressman for North Dakota for the 113th congressional session. Mr. Cramer was surrounded by friends and family including his 6 month year old granddaughter, Lyla and 5 year old son, Abel.

“I am blessed to have the honor and opportunity to serve as the next Congressman from North Dakota.” Cramer said. “I am committed to promoting policies to reign in government spending, end burdensome government regulations, and take advantage of North Dakota’s abundant natural resources that I believe will help spur economic growth in America,” Cramer continued. “I look forward to working with my colleagues and constituents to make our nation and North Dakota as strong as possible.”

Congressman Kevin Cramer will serve on both the House Committee on Natural Resources and the Science, Space and Technology Committee. Mr. Cramer replaces Representative Rick Berg, who left his House seat to seek a U.S. Senate run.
