CRAMER STATEMENT ON DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION BECOMING LAW
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Cramer released the following statement after President Trump signed the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law:
“I am pleased President Trump signed the NDAA into law today, marking the largest pay raise for our troops in nine years. This authorization funds our military with the resources they need to stay fully equipped and ready to do its job.
The benefits of this legislation will impact servicemembers across our state like replacing outdated Huey helicopters, RQ-4 drone modernization, a Readiness Center in Fargo for training, and increased funding to bring B-52 weaponry up to date. Our military is stronger than ever, thanks to this Administration’s commitment to rebuild and increase our defense investments.”
