CRAMER-SPONSORED RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ICE PASSES HOUSE
WASHINGTON, D.C. – A resolution co-sponsored by Congressman Kevin Cramer supporting the mission and work of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) passed the House of Representatives this week. H. Res. 990 expresses support of the officers and personnel at ICE in response to calls by Congressional Democrats to close the agency.
“This resolution expresses support by Congress for the work of ICE,” said Cramer. “Our nation is safer because of this agency, which every day protects America from drug and human traffickers, violent criminals and gangs like the ruthless MS-13. With ICE arrests of more than 127,000 aliens in 2017 who have dangerous criminal convictions or charges, we must continue to ensure this agency and its employees have the backing of lawmakers.”
