Represenative Cramer gave the Key Note address and helped unveiled plans for Science Applications International Corporation's new facility in Huntsville. The new facility will consolidate all of Northrop's North Alabama operations into one facility.

Representative Cramer with officials from the Port of Huntsville breaking ground on a new 219 foot air traffic control tower at the Huntsville International Airport. Representative Cramer has taken a lead role with the new tower. He worked with numerous officials in the Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation, and the Administration to make this project a priority. Through his seat on the House Appropriations Committee, Cramer secured $20.7 million for the construction of the new tower.

The Hudson-Alpha Institute for Biotechnology is a nonprofit research center that will focus on furthering biotechnology research, applications, and ideas.
