Representative Cramer presented $1 million to Northwest Shoals Community College President Dr. Humphrey Lee for the development of its Center for Business and Industry. Once completed, this center will include a teleconferencing center, industrial maintenance and research labs, an auditorium, a lecture hall, and multiple classrooms. Since FY 2004, Cramer has secured $2.2 million for the development of this center.

Cramer worked with founder Jim Hudson and others at the Hudson-Alpha Institute to locate the Institute in Huntsville.
