Cramer Announces BRAC Funding in House Bill
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Bud Cramer (Ala.-05) announced today that the House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year 2009 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Bill. The bill includes $9.1 billion to implement the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), a $1.8 billion increase from 2008.  [more]

Cramer to Host Military Academy Day for North Alabama Students and Parents
Washington, D.C. - U.S. Rep. Bud Cramer (Ala.-05) will host his annual Military Academy Day for all high school students in Alabama’s Fifth Congressional District, Sunday, September 7th in Madison. Cramer is inviting students, families and guidance counselors to come and learn about the requirements and procedures for attending one of the U.S. military academies.  [more]
