Scottsboro Municipal-Word Field to Receive $206,044 Grant
 

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Representative Bud Cramer (Ala.-05) announced today that the Scottsboro Municipal-Word Field will receive $206,044 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  The FAA is awarding this grant through its Airport Improvement Program (AIP). 

"I'm pleased to announce this grant for the Scottsboro Municipal-Word Field," said Cramer.  "Improvements like this for our airport will help our community continue to grow and attract new industries."

The airport will use the funds to help construct a new maintenance hangar.
