Washington, D.C. - U.S. Representative Bud Cramer (D-Ala.) released the following statement after the successful landing of the Space Shuttle Discovery today.

"I would like to congratulate the NASA team on the successful landing of the Space Shuttle Discovery and the safe return of the astronauts onboard.  This first test flight was the result of a great deal of hard work by many NASA employees and contractors.  I commend the Agency, and particularly the space community at Marshall and across North Alabama, for their hard work on helping the shuttle return to flight."
