Washington D.C. - U.S. Representative Bud Cramer (D-Ala.) encourages students in grades K-12 to participate in NASA's Student Involvement Program (NSIP). This national competition directly links students with NASA's diverse and exciting missions of research, exploration, and discovery.
"NASA has helped shape the way that we live our lives today," said Cramer. "This annual competition creates an environment that will develop our nation's next generation of scientists, researchers, and explorers and helps our children discover and refine their skills in science, mathematics, engineering, technology and geography. I strongly encourage all students in grades K though 12th to participate in NSIP."
Program information, entry form packets, and Resource Guides for each competition are available via the Internet (www.education.nasa.gov/nsip and www.nsip.net/index.cfm), via email (info@nsip.net) or by telephone (1-800-848-8429).
